My Mission Call

On May 27, 2008 I received the most wonderful thing. I had been waiting to do this and get this since I was a little boy. I saw both of my brothers get their's and my sister get her's. What I got is my mission call. I was called to the Phoenix Arizona Spanish speaking mission. I am supposed to report to the Missionary Training Center on August 20, 2008. I was so excited to get my call. As I opened my letter it felt like I was on top of the world and I knew that it was truly for me and that I was supposed to get it and to go there. I will get off my mission about August of 2010. I will then continue my wonderful life story. Talk to you then. Oh don't miss me too much!!!!

Life as of Now

Things are going great for me right now. In the past 5 months that I have not written I have been doing lots of great things. I finished my first year of college. I actually did better than I thought that I would. I finished my last semester well ahead of my first semester I got a 3.2. I think that is pretty good for a guy like me and not doing too HOT in school before. I returned home after school to say good by to my friends that I made at the LDSBC. I was on my way home to find me a job and to get ready for my Mission. After about five weeks of looking and applying for a job I finally got a part time job working every Wednesday cleaning carpets. It wasn't a job that I liked doing but the most important thing is that I got some money to help me pay for my Mission. So that's me in a nut shell as of right now....
